Hon. Nalaraba: Meet new Chairman House of Representatives committee on aid, loans, debt management

Honourable Abubakar Hassan Nalaraba has been appointed as the new chairman of the House of Representatives committee on aids, loans and debt management.

The lawmaker who won his election for the second consecutive time is representing Awe, Doma and Keana Federal Constituency in Nasarawa State under the All Progressives Congress, (APC).

Until his new appointment by the Speaker, House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajuddeen, he was the chairman of the Committee of Pilgrims Affairs at the 9th Assembly.

It could be recalled that, Hon. Nalaraba defeated eight candidates at the election that was conducted on February 25, 2023.

The lawmaker said, “I will strive towards judicious utilisation of aid and loans and debt management for the growth and development of the country.

“And for Nigeria to continue giving aid to neirbouring countries, have a considerate rate for internal loans and foreign loans repayment or cancellation respectively.

“Liaise with the honourable committee members and stakeholders towards debt management for economic boom”, he said.
