The traditional ruler of Atani in Ogbaru Local Government Area of Anambra State, Igwe Augustine Azuka Ngoddy has stated that the recent news going online that the Chairman, Anambra Traditional Rulers Council and Obi of Onitsha, Igwe Nnaemeka Alfred Achebe was removed by the Anambra State Governor, Prof Charles Soludo is fake, malicious and misleading.
Igwe Ngoddy who spoke in an exclusive interview with our correspondent on Wednesday, noted that no such decisions where reached as he was present throughout the meeting.
The monarch however warned those peddling such rumour to desist from as it may result to unintended consequences.
According to Igwe Atani, “No such thing happened in our meeting with the Governor on Tuesday and I was there till the end.
“All negative activity, from stealing to malicious rumor mongering have their repercussions, so let’s all be careful and positively guided,” he said.
