INEC trains 250 supervisory presiding officers in Bauchi

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Bauchi State has begun the training of 250 Supervisory Presiding Officers in preparation for the forthcoming general elections.
INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner in the state, Ibrahim Abubakar disclosed this while declaring open a three-day training at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University in Bauchi.
According to him, the training is a step taken by the commission to conduct a hitch-free election on February 16 and March 2.
He said the commission is not leaving any stone unturned in its preparations for the elections and will do its best to deliver on the mandate.
The Resident Commissioner called on eligible voters who are yet to collect their permanent voter cards to do so before February 8, to be able to vote.
