Intending pilgrims urged to pray for lasting peace in Nigeria
Intending Muslim pilgrims have been urged to pray for peaceful co-existence of the country.
The Chairman, Kubau Local Government Area of Kaduna state, Aminu Sabo made the call in an interview with journalists in Kaduna Saturday.
He pointed out that the Hajj exercise is coming at a time the nation grapples with security challenges.
Also the Overseer, Kaduna State Muslim Pilgrims’ Welfare Board, Imam Hasaini Ikara noted that the second batch of 508 intending pilgrims from Kubau, Igabi and Kagarko local governments areas are expected to be airlifted at 8pm Saturday.
