The Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, has commissioned the 23-kilometre Madauchi–Madakiya–Kafanchan asphalt road linking Zangon Kataf and Jema’a local government areas in the southern part of the state.
Speaking at the commissioning ceremony in Madakiya, Zangon Kataf LGA, Governor Uba Sani described the road as a critical link that connects several communities, boosts economic activities, and enhances mobility within the zone.
He noted that his administration has remained consistent in rural development, having completed numerous projects across the state. According to him, the newly constructed road will reduce transportation losses, ease movement of farm produce, and sustain livelihoods for residents.
The Governor further assured that he will return to Kafanchan soon to commission additional projects aimed at improving infrastructure and socio-economic development in the area.
In his remarks, the Senator representing Kaduna South Senatorial District, Barrister Sunday Marshall Katung, expressed appreciation to Governor Uba Sani for prioritizing infrastructure development in Southern Kaduna. He commended the governor for executing impactful projects that directly benefit the people.
Similarly, the Chairmen of Zangon Kataf and Jema’a Local Government Areas, Bege Gayya and Peter Tanko Dogara, lauded the governor for his inclusive style of governance, noting that his administration carries all stakeholders along in the implementation of development projects.
They pledged continued support for the state government’s development agenda in the zone.
