KOBA AGM: Ex-president Yar’adua school mates to complete E-library

Government College keffi,old boys association,under the aegis of Keffi Old Boys Association (KOBA) have perfected plans on completion of an electronic library,started by late president Musa Shehu Yar’adua while he was Nigeria president,as they earmarked One Billion Naira in executing the project with in the school.
Their decision to completing the project was reached during the association Annual General Meeting(AGM) Friday in the premises of the college in keffi.
Speaking in an interview with journalists ,the National secretary of the association,Mr Sam Israel revealed that one thing that makes KOBA thick amongst other old students Association in the country is the ability and willingness by all members across the country through their generous donation and dedication to the policies of the association.
According to him” you can see that despite the insecurity, economic hardship,our members across the north and beyond are all in attendance for this year AGM.
” So it is no magic but some of the measures put on ground,apart from the commitment of the national president,who on his own engaged individual in a very appealing manner,our members also take time out to meet with institutions and organisations and CBN,which in recent time made an intervention fund to the school for the upgrades of some of the infrastructure in the school” He said.
The national president,Chief Engineer Edward Ujege, whose tenure was extended for another round of Four years, while thanking members for the confidence reposed on him,said he is not going to do any magic ,but forged on with the good works he started in the first tenure,inensuring that the association and the college becomes admired by all in academics and facility for a conducive learning and teaching where both the students and staff will be proud of.
Apex News Exclusive,report that the KOBA AGM which started on Thursday included novelty football match, a gala night ,will come to an end on Saturday at Abuja ,with awards on the governors of plateau ,Benue and Nasarawa State, among sixteen of the association members who have demonstrated capacity in the upliftment of the association.
