Living Faith Church gives free medical care to Kuje, Abuja community

The Living Faith Church, Sauka, Kuje on Saturday held a free medical programme for residents of AA 1 extention, Holy Family, Kuje as part of the monthly outreach in commemoration of the Easter celebration in the community.
The exercise which witnessed large turnout of people was thrown open to people of all ages and religious beliefs with free medical checkup such as blood pressure, blood sugar, widal test, others and medications were prescribed for those that needed them.
The medical outreach with 10 medical personnels ranging from general doctors, medical scientists, pharmacists and nurses attended to the people. The beneficiaries, having been screened for the common diseases, were given medications and counselling.
Children were not left out of the programme as some residents brought their children for test.
The Resident Pastor of the church, Pst Elais Elaigwu who led the team said it is part of the monthly routine of the church to reach out to those that are challenged in their health as God will perfect the rest haven done the medical aspect.
Some beneficiaries who spoke at the programme, appreciated the organiser of the programme while saying that she did a widal test and she was giving drugs free of charge.
At the end of the programme, about 150 residents benefited from the outreach and the church take the next one to another community by May.
