The Consul-General of Nigeria in Guangzhou, China, Mr Anozie Madaubuchi-Cyril, says he will host Nigerian Community in Guangdong Province to a Town Hall meeting on August 24.
Madaubuchi-Cyril said on Wednesday in Abuja that it was to discuss concerns about Nigerians in the province.
The consul-general said that the meeting would help to discuss the community’s concerns, including business activities and welfare in the province.
“The consult-general will also brief the Nigerian Community on the outcome of his meeting of Aug.16 with the officials of the Guangdong Province.
“This includes the Public Security Bureau, Department of Commerce, Foreign Affairs Office, People’s High Court and Prison Administration Bureau.
“The Town Hall Meeting will go a long way in allaying the various concerns of the community as it affects their daily activities in Guangdong Province in particular and China in general.
“The meeting is scheduled to take place at Soluxe Hotel, Tianhe District, Guangzhou, Guangdong Province,” the spokesperson, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr Tope Elias-Fatile, qouted Madaubuchi-Cyril as saying in a statement.(NAN)
