The leadership of the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State Of Biafra (MASSOB) have exonarated ourselves from the show of shame and reckless insensitivity of Ralph Uwazuruike and his hired Igbo youths that paraded themselves as MASSOB members in Owerri conducting a political rally for the support of Governor Yahaya Bello’s presidential ambition.

This was contained in a statement by Comrade Edeson Samuel, National Director of information, MASSOB to Apex News Exclusive Monday.

The statement said they are not MASSOB members.

Comrade Samuel said MASSOB have never engaged or campaigned or rallied for any politician vying for political occupation in Nigeria.

“Our primary duty of existence is for Biafra actualization and restoration through non violence. MASSOB can never be agitating for Biafra autonomy and at the same time romancing with the major enemies of the people of Biafra,” the statement added.

MASSOB warned Ralph Uwazuruike, the leader of Biafra Independent Movement (BIM) to stop parading himself as MASSOB leader, and also to stop using MASSOB for marchandise.

It is very unfortunate that Uwazuruike who was expelled from MASSOB on November, 2015 because of corruption and betrayal of trust / confidence.

The statement pointed out that Uwazuruike fraudulently introduced and issued out Biafra international Passport, Biafra vehicles plate number and Biafra Income Tax, though he made millions of naira from these ventures, they still remain unused and inconsequential to the people of Biafra.

MASSOB wondered why Uwazuruike who claimed to be founder and leader of a pro Biafra organization called Biafra Independence Movement (BIM) did not remind his visiting Northern governor about the continuous detention of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu by the federal government led by his father, President Muhammadu Buhari. Instead, Uwazuruike was canvassing and campaigning for the presidential ambition of Yahaya Bello.

Comrade Samuel said Uwazuruike campaining for the governor of Kogi state against his Igbo brother is nothing but to fulfill the agreement he signed with the Hausa Fulani cabals in 2013 and also to pay for the money he received from the governor of Kogi state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello.
