Nasarawa assembly primaries: APC stakeholders, aspirants, delegates in confusion

Nasarawa State APC primaries to elect state legislators scheduled to have taken place on Thursday had suffered setback as confusion and tension mounts among stakeholders ,aspirants and delegates in some local government areas of the state.
This was so because,of alleged alterations in the delegates list who are suspected to be alien to those aspiring for the position.
From reliable sources in keffi, the alleged delegate list apart from being new was not communicated to the affected local government party chairmen.
A pundit revealed that the new list was docked by a few section of the stakeholders who for reasons based known to them and to side line some critical aspirants and others who are incumbent in their various political offices.
The pundit also revealed that the alterations in the list can not be unconnected to some power brokers of Nasarawa State,who are serving at the national level of both the Federal level and the national party secretariat.
” If this is allowed to continue the party stand a chance of Lossing members to other political parties”
It would be recalled that the Nasarawa State APC chairman,Dr John W.D Mamman on Thursday while addressing the press over the the suspended assembly primaries said”Nasarawa APC rejects delegates list, postponed assembly primaries.
“The party in the state discovered that the authentic list of the delegates was docked in some local government areas in the state.
” The party is saddened by the discovery that the official and authentic list of the delegates send to the national secretariat for the party’s primaries ,has been completely change or docked in a number of local government non the state”The state party chairman said
Apex News Exclusive,observed that even as at filing this report as at 2:58pm rumors had it that the state APC had adopted the new delegates list ,for the conduct of the assembly primaries.however the officials and materials that would enable the conduct of the election are yet to arrive.
As delegates are in disarray ,with some stakeholders threatening to boycott the primary if the old delegates list is not to be used.
