Nasarawa House of Assembly aspirant, Comrade Abubakar promises provision of social amenities if elected

An aspirant to the Keffi East State Constituency in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly under the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Honourable Abdullahi Abubakar, has pledged provision of various social amenities to the people if elected to represent them in next year’s election.
He said as a legislator, he can assist the people in many ways to uplift their living conditions.
Comrade Abubakar, a one-time state Chairman of Nigeria Union of Local Government Employee (NULGE) and Vice Chairman, Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) in Nasarawa State made the remarks Monday in an interview with Apex News Exclusive in Keffi. He said, if elected, his constituents will enjoy numerous assistance.
“I can assist the people financially so that they can be empowered to do something for themselves. I can also assist in providing water through drilling of boreholes within rural communities,” he stressed.
According to him, “looking at the poor state of health facilities, I am going to bring bills to that effect. It is going to be of importance to the people because anywhere urbanization is taking place, there is going to the need for the establishment of hospitals.”
He said as a grassroots worker in the past he knows the problem of his people and that was why they called him to aspire to the House of Assembly.
Besides, he noted that “it is right time we go to our constituency and represent our people. I feel I should also come out and test my popularity and ensure the good things I can be able to provide for my people. I believe I should be the best person to fill the vacuum as the person representing now is aspiring to the House of Representatives.”
