Nasarawa Information Commissioner drums support for Governor Sule for sustainable development

Nasarawa State Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Mr Ibrahim Angbolo, has drummed support for the administration of Goernor Abdullahi Sule and his industrialization drive for sustainable economic development in the state.

Angbolo made the call in an interview with newsmen in Lafia, Nasarawa state capital.

Angbolo said industrialization has put the state in the pedestal of economic development as it became an enviable investment destination in the north central, Nigeria.

The Commissioner noted that the industrialization created jobs for teeming youths and economically empowered the people of the state to contribute meaningfully to the state.

Angbolo said that the present administration under the leadership of Gov Sule has demonstrated sheer commitment in ensuring enabling business environment created by heavily invested in security.

This, he said attracted retinues of investors to the state to invest in the area of interest and of benefit to Nasarawa state.

He, therefore called on potentials investors to take advantage of peace and enabling business environment to invest in the state.

He listed the investors to establish industries in Nasarawa state to include; Olams Nigeria Ltd, Dangote Sugar Refinery, Azman Nigeria Ltd, Flour Mills Nigeria Ltd, Bionas Group, ABS Blueprint Consortium, Prime Global, Beacon Energy, Green Sahara, Diamond Stripes.

Others are Barlow & Barrow International Nigeria Ltd, Green and Energy Limited, Landmark Lithium Mining Company, Ganfeng Lithium Industry Limited factory.

Angbolo said that the industrialization added value to the state, and also boosted internally generated revenue, noting that the state is no longer waiting for federal allocation to pay salary anymore.

“I must commend the owner of the vision, His excellency, Gov Abdullahi Sule for conceptualising industrialization of the state, which is known to receive the least federal allocation upon assumption of office in 2019.

“Having noticed the potentials the state has, especially in the areas of agriculture, solid minerals oil and gas, he developed a blueprint to transform the state through industrialization.

He added that the State was identified as one of the states to play a prominent role towards achieving food security goal of the renewed hope agenda of President Bola Tinubu.

He said the state is expected to cultivate 10, 000 hectares of land and has identified suitable land in Jangwa, Assakio and Doma for consideration.

“The administration is able to achieve all of these by putting enabling policies on ground to facilitate his vision for the state, today Nasarawa state is an investment hub,” he said

He appealed to the good people of the state to sustain their supports for the government of Gov Sule as he strive to secure better future for Nasarawa state.

“The future is here already, the foundation for industrialization has been laid and built, and all other sectors of the state’s economy have been stimulated, benefits are visible,” he said.
