National Orientation Agency in Bauchi State is poised to partner organizations with passion women and youth to drive development and empowerment.
Nuru Yusuf Kobi, state Director of the Agency made the remarks on Thursday in a courtesy visit by the the MAFITA Women and Youth Development Initiative (MWYDI).
Kobi believed a synergy with them is worthwhile as the agency collaborates the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs to sensitize citizens about government schemes, loans and interventions available to women, youths.
He added that leveraging on opportunities as such will also help those at the lower ladder of the society urging the organization to train as many members as possible with skills to enable easy access to those loans and profitably use them.
He further encouraged Nigerians to be patriotic and patronise Made-in-Nigeria products for mass production, improvement and exportation of Nigerian products just as China does to theirs to ultimately boost our economy
The Director also charged citizens above the age of 18 to register for their permanent voters card before its closure on the 30th of June.
Earlier, the Founder/Chairperson MAFITA, Mrs Theresa Orude explained that the non-governmental and non-political organization would appreciate all the help it can get to support and equip women and youth in every corner of the state with necessary skills, business ideas and startup capital.
While extoling the federal government for placing priority on the development of women and youth she submitted that MAFITA have modalities to reach out to those living below the belt in rural areas, but promised to keep pushing to raise people out of poverty and improve the economy.
