The people of the South East extraction of Nigeria, known as Ndigbo has been urged to think less about politics and aggressively redirect their attention to building their economy.
Chief Chinefu Nsoffor, who is the President of Igbo Ebilie World City Project stated this in Onitsha Anambra during a prayer session for Ndigbo which was organized by the Greater Igbo Advancement Movement in conjunction with Anambra State Indigenous Pentecostal Association and Igbo Ebilie World Trade City Project.
Nsoffor who is also the chairman of Oraifite Igwe in Council said that it has been established that politics is not the most important thing as many would want to believe..
Consequently, he said that Ndigbo should place greater value on economy than politics by building their economic capacity.
He said Igbo Ebilie is an organisation registered with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC),which would midwife projects that would turn around Igbo race in about 20 years.
Part of the projects, he said, would be the Igbo tower to be located in the centre of Igbo land, cattle ranching and many other economic projects.
He said that Igbo Ebilie would commence with ranching since Ndigbo consume most of the cows bred in Nigeria as they use it for different celebrations such as burials, thanksgiving among others.
Nsoffor said in the first instance, they would strive to achieve to breed 25 percent consumption needs of cows in Igbo land .
He said : ” This is a great project. When established, it will bring peace to Nigeria. It will bring civil war to an end. It will intergrate Ndigbo into Nigerian project. Igbo Ebilie is above politics and religion”.
Nsoffor said Igbo Ebilie projects would cut across agriculture, technology, commerce, and must be pushed out with great zeal.
He also noted that they cannot achieve this without God, hence the need for the prayers session, saying that the problems of insecurity, unemployment, food scarcity, disease, poverty, cannot be solved without God.
The Coordinator of the programmes, Evangelist Theorays Ejikeme, said that what is happening in Nigeria especially in Igbo land should be a source of concern to all Ndigbo.
“And if you are in problem, there is no other place to run to except God to cause our leaders to know what they ought to do, bring ourselves together spiritually, intellectually and commercially. Our package is a new discovery and it should be able to show us the truth” he said in his address.
He stressed the need for Ndigbo to go back to God as panacea to their socio-political and economic problems, saying that Ndigbo should pray and be convenanted with God as we have not prayed as we ought to.
Archbishop Mike U Chukwudum and the presiding Bishop of The Rock of Fire Global Mission said that the major problem of Ndigbo is that they have abdicated their source, which is the Almighty God.
He called on Ndigbo to return to their original source, which is the God of creation, not these other gods and secret societies our people pay allegiance to.
The Archbishop advised the Igbo Ebilie promoter,Chief Nsoffor to be careful of allowing the vision to be corrupted by some elements, lauding him for his natural endowment which forced him to pronounce Nsoffor as a “Professor”.
