Nigerian-born actress, Oghenekaro Itene is set to play Jayla in the Hollywood movie, ‘Chase,’ written, directed and co-produced by Michael Matteo Rossi.
The plot of the movie is based on a hit man who must prove his loyalty to his mentor and best friend, while his girlfriend wants to leave the business.
Rossi already has a feature, ‘Sable’ among others, to his credit. His latest film, Chase, which showcases Oghenekaro is expected in cinemas soon.
Other cast in the movie are Damien Puckler, who plays the hit man, Jessica Morris, Aries Spears, Richard Riehle , Devanny Pinn and Simeon Panda.
Rossi’s wrote the screenplay and produced it alongside Katrina Y. Nelso.
Driven by the urge to succeed beyond the shores of Nigeria, Itene left for South Africa to set up shop, serving the movie and music video industry as a makeup artist.(Daily Trust)
