Returning pilgrims to Holy Sites in Israel and Jordan spontaneously erupted into songs and praises as the Air Anka A330 aircraft slowly descended towards the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
The pilgrims, mainly from Nasarawa State went into an uncontrolled frenzy of songs praising God for a successful and rewarding religious exercise.
The aircraft had departed from the Queen Alia International Airport Amman, Jordan at about 11:15am arriving Abuja about 4:30 local time.
After the plane had landed, the religious leader of the ninth batch, Bishop of Lagos Central, Methodist Church Nigeria, Rt. Rev. Dr. Samuel R. Nortey, prayed for a worthy pilgrimage and safe arrival.
