Comrade Baruga Abdullahi Ibrahim
By Anthony Maliki
A frontline NNPP gubernatorial aspirant in Plateau State, Comrade Baruga Abdullahi Ibrahim has described the recent attacks on innocent citizens in the country and especially in Plateau State as a clear ineptitude in governance and insensitivity on the part of those saddled with the constitutional responsibility of protecting the lives and properties of the citizens.
Comrade Baruga raised this concern on the heels of the incessant attacks on the land and people of Plateau state, noting especially the repeated attacks in Bassa local government, the abduction of the wife and daughter of a serving Commissioner from Gindiri in Mangu local government and the brazen killing of innocent lives in Kanam local government area.
This was contained in a statement by Baruga Media Team (BMT) to Apex News Exclusive on Wednesday.
He said “no responsive and responsible government anywhere in the world would watch this cruel and brutish criminality being meted on the people who have surrendered their rights to defense to a supposedly constituted and responsible government”, we therefore joins other well meaning Plateau People and Nigerians in condemning these dastard acts and the ineptitude of government in meeting the minimum expectation of the people.
He also condoles with victims of these crimes; praying for the quick recovery of the injured, unconditional release of the abducted and repose of the souls of the departed.
