The emergency as well as security agencies in Sokoto State have denied any helicopter crash around Gandi in the state.
The Director-General, Sokoto State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) Ibrahim Haliru, Assistant Director, Army Public Relations, Major Clement Abiade and Police Public Relations Officer, Sokoto Command, DSP Cordelia Nwawe, said there was no crash as being circulated the social media.
Haliru said however that there was a boat that capsized in Gandi drowning 12 persons.
Major Abiade said there was nothing of such as far as Sokoto and Zamfara states were concerned.
DSP Nwawe stated explained that as far as she was concerned, there was nothing like that.
