Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has declared that he has no opposition but has noise makers within the political parties in the state.
Fintiri made the declaration while speaking to journalists when inspecting the fly-over and tunnel at the verge of completion at the police roundabout in Yola, the state capital.
His words. “I think, I will continue to tell you that we have noise makers as far as we are concerned, we have no opposition in the state but if any party or APC will claim to be an opposition, where were they when they were in power four the last years in the governance of Adamawa state.”
This is because “APC were given the opportunity for fours years but could not utilized it, they did not even look at the state with passion or any remorse but we are for two and a half years or less the people can see clearly that there are tangeable projects on going”, he added.
He noted that, “we work together with you journalists and you will believed that there is no opposition politically in the state, I will continue to say there is no opposition, there are people that are making noises.”
Governor Fintiri also stated that the project is almost completed, people are happy about it and will continue as a government to provide such things for the people in the fulfilment of its mandate.
