The Northern Youths Consultative initiative (NYCI) has passed a vote of confidence on the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Nigeria Incentive-Based Risk Sharing System for Agricultural Lending (NIRSAL Plc.), Aliyu Abdulhameed describing him as the best for the job considering his vast experience in the banking sector.
The Convener of NYCI, Bappare Mohammed stated during a press conference in Bauchi that Aliyu Abdulhameed is an exemplary leader who has focus and the country at heart in ensuring the development of Agriculture for food security and availability.
Bappare Mohammed added that, Aliyu Abdulhameed is a dedicated and committed public servant who knows what to do to attract success in his assignment as can be seen in what he has done so far in the Agency.
He opined that his re appointment as the substantive MD/CEO of NIRSAL for the second term was a great development to the county at this material time that his service is still needed considering the importance placed on the development of the agricultural sector.
He stated that, “we commend the President, Mohammed Buhari and the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele for reappointing a well deserved public servant and a leader for the second term. We the youths of this country are very proud of him because his tremendous contributions to economical development of our dear country”.
“We equally urge him to continue with his good policies and programs that touched the masses and the less privileged directly”, the NYCI added.
The Northern Youth consultative initiative then assured that it shall partner with NIRSAL in the angle of the youth development stating that, “we shall continued to enlighten the youths on the policies and the program of NIRSAL for their self development” .
Bappare Mohammed concluded that, “We need great leaders that can sacrifice their time and effort towards the development, unity and progress of our country. Nigeria is one and we shall continued to remain one” .
