Ohaneze youths honour Iwuno as patron

The Anambra State chapter of Ohaneze Ndi-Igbo Youth Wing has honored and adopted a community leader, Sir John Iwuno, as its Patron for demonstrating a healthy selfless community and youth development across the state.
The state Chairman of the Association, Mazi Chukwuma Okpalaezeukwu, stated this when the State Executive Council of the Association paid a courtesy visit to the Nando-born philanthropist at his resident, Agbudu village Nando in Anambra East Local Government Area .
Ohaneze Ndi-Igbo Youth Wing, an apex Igbo Youth social cultural organization which shelters every youth organization across the country, seeks to promote peaceful co-existence, encourage development and social cultural activities among others.
Presenting the award to the community leader, Mazi Okpalaezeukwu said as charity begins at home, Sir John has shown his philanthropic leadership in both community and youth development noting that the Award is to encourage him for the giant strides and as well spur him to partner with the Ohaneze Ndi-Igbo Youth Wing for the actualization of progressive and better society in the state.
Receiving the award, the community leader, Sir John thanked them for the honour, assuring that he will continue to engage the youth productively for the actualization of the vision of Ohaneze Ndi-Igbo.
The Community Leader appreciated Governor Willie Obiano for his leadership style which he seeks to emulate through his people oriented initiatives, aimed at supporting the government in solving the problems of unemployment and poverty in the society.
Some stakeholders in the community including Honorable Ferdinand Ekwealor and Engineer Fabian Agbasionwe, described the honour as well deserved as his humanitarian service has impacted on various sectors of the community and prayed God for his continuous blessings upon his household.
