The chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, (APC) Ebonyi State chapter, Hon. Stanley Emegha said that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) were not match to the party in the state, ahead of the forthcoming general election.
Emegha made this known in Abakaliki the Ebonyi state capital, barely 24 hours when a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja had on Wednesday, said Mr Tochukwu Okorie was not validly nominated to contest election into the chairmanship position of the party (PDP) in Ebonyi State.
The judgement delivered by Justice Ahmed Mohammed was in favour of the suit filed by Mr Silas Onu, challenging the election of Okorie as Ebonyi state chairman of the party.
Onu who contested the chairmanship position was defeated by Okorie during the state primaries in Abakaliki.
Although, Okorie has head to appeal and had also filled state of execution against the judgement.
“if they want let them appoint anybody as a Chairman, they cannot win even single elective position in the state come 2023 general elections”.
“And they problem started immediately the state governor, David Umahi defected to APC in November, 2020.
“If this is a misfortune or debacle, please let them sought themselves out and learn not be jumping the gun by following due process because this is not the era where PDP was in charge of the country and was allowing impunity and abuse of process to be the order of the day”, Emegha stated.
