A presidential aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa on Monday advised Nigerians to check the background of anyone contesting in 2023 General Elections before voting for them.
Ohuabunwa made the call during an interview with newsmen in Ilorin at the sidelines of his visit to the leadership of Kwara State Chapter of PDP.
The 2023 presidential aspirant said he is set to run a God fearing administration, noting that he is set to select God fearing cabinet that will rescue Nigeria from total collapse.
The former National President of Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN), said he turned politicians with hope of building a new nation.
The Technocrats promised to re-write the story of Nigeria, with a vow to make appointments on the basis of geo- political zones of the country and provision of infrastructure across the country.
The PDP aspirant who is also a former Chairman of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group, pledge to solve poverty, corruption and injustice that will largely deal with insecurity.
According to him, Nigeria will become a first world nation, where all citizens live in harmony, are treated equally to achieve peace and prosperity.
“We plan to mobilize like minded citizens to install enlightenened, visionary and committed leadership in Nigeria that will motivate the country to optimize it’s human and material resources to attain global competitiveness,” he said.
Ohuabunwa also stated that he will support his party on consensus in ensuring Nigeria attain greater heights and overcome it’s challenges.
Also speaking, Alhaji Babatunde Mohammed, the Chairman of the Kwara State Chapter PDP urged the party leader to ensure unity in order to provide credible candidate that can rescued Nigeria.
He observed that large percentage of the PDP aspirant supporters are youths, while appealing for them to support the party at all times.
