PDP presidential aspirant pledges to work hard to wrestle power from APC

A People’s Democratic Party Presidential aspirant Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has pledged to work for the PDP to wrestle power from the All Progressives Congress.
Senator Bala Mohammed made the pledge when he consulted delegates of the PDP from the State of his Presidential ambition at the Government House Jalingo.
He said the APC-led administration has promoted nepotism and sectionalism to the detriment of the people and development.
The aspirant who is the Governor of Bauchi State maintained his stance to step down from the Presidential race only if there is no brutal enforcement of any one on the people.
He called on the delegates to support him to win the upcoming PDP primaries.
Responding, Governor Darius Ishaku applauded Bala Mohammed for working hard to develop Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory when he was the Minister and Bauchi State.
He said former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan was lucky to have assembled the likes of the former Minister of Finance Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, Minister of the FCT Bala Mohammed the aspirant and himself as the Minister of Power an arrangement which the APC lacks.
He assured the aspirant of his support in view of their relationship and his contribution to nation building.
On his part, spokesman of the team Emmanuel Agbo described the Presidential aspirant Bala Mohammed as a man with the virtue of patience and humility that has worked as a journalist and in the Civil Service from Level 8 to 17.
He avered that the aspirant was among senators who stood gallantly on the doctrine of necessity that allowed former President Goodluck Jonathan to be sworn in as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in line with the Constitution during the demise of President Umaru Musa Yar Adua.
The Senator Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir support group from the state accompanied the aspirant during the visit.
