The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested four suspected Shilla boys terrorizing the people of Jambutu area of Yola North Local Government Area of the state.

In a statement, the Command’s spokesman, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje said the suspects, identified as Sadiq Usman, 20 years, Abba Ibrahim, 18 years, Abdul Jibrin, 20 years, and Labaran Muhammed, 20 years, were arrested at Geriyo Junction around 2 am.

Nguroje said in their possession are dangerous weapons which include a dagger and a knife, and they were also caught smoking suspected cannabis.

Their arrests was as a result of several complaints of robbery and theft from communities in the area.

The suspects are currently in police custody for further investigations.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris has assured the people of Adamawa State of its command’s continued commitment to ensuring the safety and security of all residents.
