Police promote 38 Inspectors in Zone 6

Thirty-eight police officers in Zone Six have been promoted to the rank of Inspectors.

They were decorated with their new ranks at the zonal headquarters in Calabar on Tuesday.

Assistant Commissioners of Police, ACP Ngozi Ezeabata (DFA) and ACP Ogunjide Joseph were on hand to decorated the Officers on behalf of the Assistant Inspector General of Police.

Ezeabata charged them to put in their best in the performance of their professional duties and count themselves lucky to be so favoured by the IGP Usman Baba Alkali.

According to Ezeabata, the promotion was part of police manpower and development drive to encourage deserving personnel.

In their appreciation relayed by Inspector Gift Ubi on behalf of others, they thanked God and the police hierarchy for finding them worthy of elevation to the higher rank.

They pledged to redouble their loyalty and commitment in performance their duty to justify the confidence reposed in them.

The PPRO Zone 6, DSP. Nelson Okpabi, signed the statement on behalf of the AIG Usman Gonna.
