Wives of deceased police officers in zone six police command Calabar have received supports in forms of food items, wrappers and cash empowerments.
The wife of outgoing AIG who is Chairperson of Zone 6 POWA, Hajia Risikat Okunlola also made the presentations at the zonal police command headquarters Calabar today to other POWA members and Police Wives Association (PWA).
The food items included bags of rice, vegetable oil, salt, wrappers and cash gifts.
Addressing the women, Hajia Risikat Okunlola advised them to always pray for their husbands and engage in businesses to support them.
She charged them to maintain good personal hygiene, praying God to see their husbands through the service successfully.
Also in their remarks, POWA Zonal Coordinator, Mrs. Glory Egede and the Secretary, Mrs. Comfort Macrock said the tenure of Risikat was impactful, inspring and eventful.
Beneficiaries described the magnanimity as the first of its kind in history of the zone, praying God to replenish from wherever the benefactress sources to empower them.
