Senator Sani Danladi Abubakar has urged the people of Taraba State to continue to pray for President Bola Tinubu’s administration to surmount all predicaments facing Nigeria at the moment.
Sani who stated this in Jalingo while distributing Tinubu’s Christmas and new year rice palliative to the people of Taraba State, urged beneficiaries to commit President Tinubu’s government in daily prayers.
The former senator who is currently a board member with Tetfund disclosed that the gesture by president Tinubu to dole out palliative was to cushion hardship and assured that it will soon be a thing of the past.
He made it clear that distribution cuts across both Christians and Muslims in the state including physically challenged and the less privileged as well as widows and aged.
The former acting governor also gave assurance that more trailers of palliative measures are expected in the state, noting that the 1,200 bags of rice on ground have been slated for distribution.
On why Taraba is witnessing peaceful coexistence among politicians across different political parties particularly between him in (APC) and current governor of the State Dr. Agbu Kefas of (PDP), the former senator attributed it to good governance, nothing that governor Kefas has continue to carry Tarabans along in his administration regardless of party affiliation since assumed office on May, 2023 to date.
According to him, no one may wish to fight a government that is doing well, our prayer is that governor Kefas should continue in that direction.
Speaking at the event, committee chairman for palliative distribution, Alhaji Abdullahi Ibrahim remarked that President Tinubu has the interest of people at hand.
He particularly lauded Senator Sani Danladi for accomplishment and trust bestowed on him by the president and described him as a rare gen worthy son of Taraba.
