Alhaji Aminu Waziri Tambuwal

“I am the most qualified candidate to rule Nigeria.”
This was the assertion by the Sokoto State Governor and Presidential aspirant of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Aminu Waziri Tambuwal while addressing delegates and stakeholders of the party Saturday at the Executive Council Chamber Government House, Jalingo,Taraba State.
The presidential hopeful noted that to succeed in leadership which is a trust you must be fair, just and respect everyone and be equitable.
Tambuwal said to provide good leadership one requires competence, capacity, and good character which are his whole mark. He observed that Nigeria needs a leader that can work for twenty four hours daily and harness all the abundant resources in the Country for the good of the people. Tambuwal maintained that nepotism and inequitable distribution of resources is at its peak in Nigeria under the present APC Federal Government led administration and the Country has not been divided as of today and for this reason what is required is a leader that understands the dynamics of the present times that can relate well to the people beleiving that with the person of his caliber the PDP will win the presidential election. He advised the delegates to make the right choice and commended Governor Darius Ishaku for transforming Taraba State. Responding, Taraba State Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku described Aminu Tambuwal as extremely humble and courageous and that there cannot be a better person than him for the Presidency at this time.
The Governor said the aspirant is a bridge builder not too old and not too young to rule the type of person that can take appropriate decisions at the right time saying that the aspirant is the right person to chose.
Earlier, The Director, Tambuwal Campaign Organization, Dr. Mshelia stated that his principal is development oriented who suppose to rule the country at this time of great need.
Dr. Mshelia said Tambuwal was the most successful Speaker in his twelve years of unbroken record at the House of Representatives.
He assured that there is no going to be cabal in the their Administration if elected pointing out that “Together we rebuild” as their Campaign slogan and thanked the Government and the good people of Taraba State for the warmth reception accorded them.
In his remarks, State Chairman of the PDP Colonel Agbu Kefas (rtd) said Tambuwal is Taraba and Taraba is Tambuwal and assured the Presidential aspirant of the total support of the members of the PDP in Taraba State.
