President, Bayero University Kano Alumni Association (BUKAA), Alhaji Shuaibu Idris and members of the executive have opened a portal for online registration of members.

He told this correspondent in Abuja that the new registration is done online for all members for easy process and for easy reference when the need arises using Internet Communication Technology, ICT. Furthermore, a dedicated website site for the Association has been developed. Moreover, an application would soon be available on Android and IOS devices for download. It’s dedicated for BUKAA members and has several features.

According to him, “The executive of the association of this great institution, Bayero University Kano, (BUK) wants to have an online data bank of people that have been students of Bayero University, Kano from inception to date.

“I am assuring my members that the collation of data is meant to ensure credibility, friendliness and payback to BUK.

“We want the members to know that the alumni will not relent in the development and growth of BUK and Nigeria in general”. He said.

Alhaji Idris said that the BUKAA membership registration exercise and data collection are in the overall interest of all stakeholders ad such members should kindly provide necessary data for upload on the administration system via this form. After filling the form, kindly contact the association administrator notifying him or her before the next step for data verification and upload. The system is very simple and protected.

He said that, the process is for the alumni to: Sign in to Google to save his/her progress.

Alhaji Idris appeal to members
never to submit passwords through the Google Forms. All data collected shall be protected and kept confidential. The data protection rules will apply.
