President Buhari in Dubai for largest Foreign Direct Investment meeting

After attending the World Economic Forum (WEF) for the Middle East and North Africa at the Dead Sea, Jordan, President Muhammadu Buhari heads for Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Sunday to honour the 9th Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) commencing Monday.
Apex News gathered President is expected back to Nigeria Thursday.
President Buhari Dubai event is at the instance of UAE Vice-President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
President Buahri is expected to deliver keynote address with the theme “Mapping the Future of Foreign Direct Investment: Enriching World Economies through Digital Globalization.” He is the special guest of honour.
The meeting is said to the largest gathering of corporate leaders, policymakers, businessmen, regional and international investors, entrepreneurs, leading academics and experts showcasing up-to-date information, strategies and knowledge on attracting Foreign Direct Investment.
Over 20,332 persons from 143 countries are participating in the investment meeting.
AIM, world’s leading Platform for Foreign Direct Investment, is an initiative of the UAE Ministry of Economy, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
