The Chairman of newly formed Forum of defunct Directors and Secretaries of the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council 2023, (FODS-APC-PCC), General Abdulmalik Jibril, (rtd) has said President Bola Tinubu is planning to run a government of national unity.
He made the remarks at the maiden meeting of the body in Abuja on Saturday.Major General Jibril, (rtd) was the Director of Intelligence and Security Directorate of the defunct campaign council.
He expressed delight that they have delivered on their mandate that led to the success of President Tinubu and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima at the presidential elections.
“We are assuring members of our great and national party, the APC and the citizens to continue supporting the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his Vice, Senator Shettima to transform the country to greater heights.
“This forum was formed to continue our efforts and set agenda for the growth and development of Nigeria under President Ahmed Bola Tinubu and for the unity of the party,” he noted.
He reiterated that President Tinubu will unlock Nigeria’s potential by providing the leadership that Nigeria needs at this time.
The Chairman appealed for calm, support and prayers for the Tinubu administration urging Nigerians to make sacrifices now for the betterment of the future.
