Bauchi local government chapter of the National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS) on Tuesday inaugurated its newly elected officers.
The event was held at St Paul Comprehensive School, Bauchi during which the outgoing Chairman, Rev. Musa Bogoro appreciated members for the support and commitment shown to him during his tenure.
He enumerated some of the achievements during his tenure to include the unity of purpose and partnering with the state and local government to ensure quality education in the state.
In her remarks, the Deputy President of NAPPS, North East, Hajiya Aisha Bala commended the proprietors for their efforts in promoting quality education in the state.
She also applauded the outgoing Chairman for his efforts in repositioning NAPPS in Bauchi LGA in particular and the State at large.
The newly elected the Chairperson, Hajiya Binta Faruq appreciated the members for their maturity, stating that she and her Executive Committee members will not take the confidence reposed in them for granted.
She promised to consolidate on the gains of the immediate past Chairman to contribute to quality education in the state.
Binta added that she and her EXCO members will engage the state government and relevant stake holders to ensure effective partnership in quality education in the local government and the state.
The newly elected Bauchi NAPPS executives are: Chairman, Hajiya Binta Faruq, Vice Chairman, Rev Raphael Adetumibi, Secretary, Elder Abel Musa,
Assistant Secretary , Abdullahi A. Shira and
Treasurer, Margaret Akpan.
Others are Financial Secretary, Mrs Patricia Tafida, Welfare Officer, Mall. Zaharau Tahir, PRO 1, Hajiya Fatsuma Aminu Muh’d and PRO 11, Mr Gabriel Abiola S.
