Reactions trail APC governorship primaries in Taraba as Senaror Bwacha declared winner

As reactions continues trailing the outcome of All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial primaries in Taraba State, winner of the election Senator Emmanuel Bwacha has called on aggrieved members of the party to sheath their swords in the interest of peace and unity of the party.
Speaking with journalists shortly after being declared APC candidate in the state, Bwacha said the task before the party is to work hard to ensure victory ahead of 2023 general election.
He pointed out that primary election of the party has come and gone but the task before them is to ensure that APC take over Taraba State come 29th May 2023.
According to him, the challenges before the party was enormous, assuring that he has accepted the offer to ensure that the state actualizes its original dreams.
He recalled that the santity and dignity of civil service in the state had been bastardised in the recent time while assuring all and sundry of an all inclusive government if APC takes over affairs of the state,
The governorship candidate who described the state of Taraba as “unfortunate and sad” said given the opportunity by Tarabans he will work hard to bring back the lost glory of the state from the ills that bedeviling the state in the recent time.
Meanwhile our correspondent reports that the declaration of Senator Bwacha as the winner of the election by the Chairman of APC Electoral Committee, Lawrence Onuchukwu at the Danbaba Suntai Airport did not go down well with the other Six Aspirants.
The six aspirants who expressed dissatisfaction over the declaration during a Press Conference in Jalingo said there was no election which they noted was clarified by the Electoral Officer himself.
The spokesperson of the six aspirants, Senator Yusuf A. Yusuf explained that the Committee Chairman, at the State Police Command Headqurters told the Media that there was no election and wondered why the declaration the following day.
“We were at the State Police Headquarters when Mr. Lawrence Onuchukwu announced that there were no elections and he had not approved for any elections”,
“We don’t mind, any one of us that may emerge because all of us are capable. But they should follow due process of the law”, he added.
While emphasizing that the Six of them were deeply united in the struggle, Senator Yusuf, who represents Taraba Central at the National Assembly opined that
the National Leadership of APC must come to conduct credible election in the State that members, supporters and the people will beckon with.
