Ali Sani Kona aspires for Taraba North Senatorial District

A stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Taraba State and a senatorial hopeful Ali Sani Kona says the relationship between the leader of the party, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is cordial.
Ali Sani Kona who aspiring for Taraba North APC Senatorial District seat in the 2023 elections disclosed this at the Jalingo Airport while speaking with Apex News Exclusive observing that the duo have their individual charisma, capacity and capabilities.
He noted that while Tinubu is the leader of the APC, Osinbajo is presently the Vice President of Nigeria but it is not true that their relationship is that of master-servant as insinuated particularly by the press. According to him, the relationship of the two personalities is normal pointing out that surely Tinubu is the elder but Osinbajo is the second in command in Nigeria and so it was uncalled for any one to discredit any of them just because they are slugging it out for the presidency of the country.
He noted that the contest for the president require honesty, morality and high sense of commitment but politicians and their supporters always try to outweight the other by all means to get an upper hand which is not only in the case of Tinubu and Osinbajo and declared his total support for the aspiration of the Vice President to be the next President of Nigeria.
On his ambition to the Senate, Kona said generally, people of Taraba State know him as a realist in nature in his approach to all issues and Governance from the various positions he held in the state and assured the people of Taraba North for his usual sincerity, honesty, dedication and productivity if given the mandate.
Going down memory lane, the performance of Ali Sani Kona popularly known as ASK could be described as unprecedented in all the offices he held in state.
While he was the Executive Chairman, Jalingo Local Government, the APC chieftain used his wizardry and constructed a befitting upstairs secretariat and a gigantic business centre which is generating high revenue for the Council and equally constructed a very big, modern and magnificent Secretariat at the Taraba State Bureau for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs where he he held sway as the Special Adviser to the Governor to mention a few.
Indeed, all the projects he carried out have no equal in Taraba State and so Ali Sani Kona could best be referred to as a construction wizard.
