Samson Kaura resumes as Gombe FRSC new Sector Commander

Gombe State Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has a change of leadership as a result of the transfer of Corps Commander Felix N Theman to the FRSC National Headquarters, Abuja.

The new Sector Commander, Corps Commander Samson Kaura who was appointed as a Sector Commander on the 21st July, 2024 has since taken over the leadership.

Commander Kaura thanked the people of Gombe for the warmth reception accorded to him and recognized the efforts of the Governor of Gombe State, Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for his exemplary role and for making Gombe a serene environment as Jewel in the Savannah.

Kaura appealed to the people of the state to join hands with him and make the roads safer for the motoring public and to achieve zero percent road traffic crash.

He called on the relevant stakeholders to sustain the good working relationship already established while calling on sister Agencies for better collaboration and focus towards the achievement of the Corps Strategic goals.

Corps Commander Kaura hails from Tafawa Balewa LGA in Bauchi State, holds a B.Sc Degree in Sociology and Master of Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.

Commander Kaura has served across the country among which; he was the Zonal Head Operations in the Bauchi Zonal Command, Bauchi State, was also the Corps Commander Youths Safety Education in the Training Department, National Headquarters Abuja before his appointment as the Sector Commander Gombe State.

He promised to give his best to improve positive road activities and to move Gombe State forward as contained in a statement by SRC Janet Kassa, Command, PRO.
