Senator Simon Bako Lalong, representing Plateau South Senatorial District has congratulated veteran educationist and former Commissioner for Secondary Education in Plateau State, Mrs. Elizabeth Wapmuk on the occasion of her 70th birthday.
Lalong rejoices with her on marking the landmark age of 70 in good health, peace and security, describing her as a teacher per excellence.
This was contained in a statement Thursday by Dr. Makut Simon Macham, Special Adviser on Media to Senator Lalong.
He recalls her tremendous sacrifices and service in training and moulding many young persons that have become great people in society.
The former Plateau State Governor recalls with appreciation the enormous contributions she made to the Rescue Administration when she transformed the Secondary education sector in the State and ensured that students recorded successes in national and international examinations.
Senator Lalong wishes her many more years of joy and happiness as well as urges her to continue to contribute to the development of education in any way possible.
