The late Mr. Isaacs
Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District Simon Lalong has expressed shock over the demise of veteran broadcast journalist Jeffrey Isaacs Gonsum.
Lalong says he is distraught by the death of the veteran on air personality and media consultant who has contributed immensely to the growth of broadcasting in Plateau State and Nigeria at large.
He recalls the vibrant contributions of the deceased on Peace FM 90.5 Jos as well as many broadcast stations in the country.
According to Lalong, Jeffrey Isaacs as he was popularly known created a niche for himself in the world of journalism and became a household name with listeners.
He said the late broadcaster untill his demise was very active in planting community radio stations in Plateau State and elsewhere, with Wase Rock FM 93.9 as his last baby which he helped establish for the proprietors and was nurturing it to growth before he passed on.
Lalong commiserates with his family, the management and staff of Wase Rock FM 93.9 as well as his fans and colleagues all over the country.
He prays God to grant him eternal rest and forgive his sins.
