Senator Lalong receives predecessor, Senator Lar, congratulates Ms Makama on appointment as Executive Director NCC

Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District, Simon Lalong on Thursday 7 March 2024 received one of his predecessors Senator Victor Lar who visited him at his office in the national Assembly Abuja.
Senator Lalong who held a closed door engagement with the former Senator discussed various issues concerning the welfare and well-being of the people of the Southern Zone as well as Plateau State at large.
The two agreed to continue to interface and unite on all matters relating to the Southern Senatorial District particularly at the present time when there is so much intervention needed.
Senator Lalong while assuring his constituents of his determination to offer quality representation through bills, empowerment, projects and jobs, thanked Senator Victor Lar for the visit and said his doors are always opened to members of the District who have ideas on how to move the Zone forward.
Senator Lar once again congratulated Senator Lalong and assured him of his support and partnership in championing the cause of the people of the district and Plateau as a whole.
He expressed confidence that Senator Lalong who is not new to the legislature and with vast experience in the Executive, will do a lot during his tenure at the Red Chambers.
Senator Lalong also received the newly appointed Executive Director, Stakeholder Engagement at the Nigerian Communication Commission, Ms Rimini Makama who visited him.
He congratulated her on her appointment saying it is well-deserved considering her vast experience in the IT and Telecom sector.
Lalong urged her to do her best and make Plateau State and Nigeria proud by contributing to the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu in the Communication sector.
