Son of late Emir of Lafia nominated as chairman of Nasarawa Assembly Service Commission

Nasarawa State House of Assembly has received the nomination of Alhaji Musa Isa Mustapha Agwai 1 as Chairman, Nasarawa State Assembly Service Commission.

The Lafia Prince is the eldest son of the late Emir of Lafia, Alhaji Mustapha Agwai I. Before his reappointment, he is also the current Chairman of the Commission.

Hon Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, the Speaker of the House announced this after Hon Tanko Tunga, the Majority Leader of the House read Gov. Abdullahi Sule’s letter to that effect during the House proceedings today in Lafia.

” Those appointed are Musa Isa Mustapha Agwai 1 from Lafia LGA as Chairman- re-appointment, Yusuf Ibrahim Wamba from Wamba LGA as member- reappointment, Isa Kaika Obagu from Nasarawa LGA as member -re- appointment.

” Ahmed Adamu Agina from Doma LGA as Part-Time Member- New appointment, Shuaibu Ibrahim from Lafia LGA as Part-Time member – New Appointment, Mrs Hannatu Agyas from Obi LGA as Part-Time member – New appointment and Mohammed Ohinoyi Musa from Toto LGA as Secretary- New appointment,” the Speaker said.

The Speaker urged the Clerk of the House to communicate to the nominees to submit 30 copies of their Curriculum Vitae’s (CVs), before end of work Monday and appear for screening and possible confirmation tomorrow Tuesday, May 24, 2022.
