Spiritual leader to build Supreme Temple, acquires 35 hectares of land for university

The founder of a foremost spiritual Organization, the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu has acquired over 35 hectares of land beside the Tinapa Business Resort, Calabar to establish a business hub and a university.

The spiritual leader is also reported to have laid the foundation stone of a massive edifice to be called ‘Olumba’s Supreme Temple’, which the organisation described as the Third and Final Temple.

This was disclosed in Calabar, Nigeria by the Spokesman of the spiritual Organization, The Patriarch Christ Shepherd Edet Archibong when he reeled out the socioeconomic, educational, touristy and religious contributions of Olumba Olumba Obu as he marks his birthday tagged Divine Manifestation on November 20.

“In the area of infrastructural development and building construction a lot has been achieved. Over 35 hectares of land has been acquired by His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu in Adiabo town, close to Tinapa in Calabar. This vast expanse of land is to be used to establish a worship centre, schools, shopping mall, sports/recreational facilities, event centre, Secretariat complex, business centre, parking lot, security outpost, among others. This will be the New Kingdom hub. Development of the he site is at the stage of perimeter fencing to secure the property.

“The Olumba’s Supreme Temple is a spiritually conceptualised project which is the physical abode of God who has manifested in human form and is dwelling with man. It is the third and final temple and this time it is outside Jerusalem.”

About the proposed Brotherhood university, the spokesman said an arm of the Organization, “The Universal Education Fellowship has been directed by the Holy Father, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu to put in motion the process of establishing he BCS university.”

Still on education, he said the fold of BCS has invested staggering resources to build a the Brotherhood Model College (BROMCO) which comprises of primary and secondary schools.

He said the school has been expanded with additional classrooms and laboratories.

He also stated that due to the teeming number of faithful that flock in round the clock from many countries, the Cross River State government has decided to partner the Organization to bolster its tourism potentials.

Archibong said the one week birthday celebration commences from Monday 16 to Sunday 22 November, adding that highpoints would be humanitarian works as well as welfare visits to Nigeria Correctional Centre in Afokang area of the city.

According to him, organisers of the event will climax it by treating the international and national dignitaries to a ‘divine royal banquet’ at the world headquarters of the Organization, 34 Ambo Street, Calabar.
