States legislative speakers visit Emir of Kano, condole Kano, Bichi emirates on death of monarchs mother

The Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria has condoled with the Emirs of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero and that of Bichi, Alhaji Nasiru Ado Bayero over the demise of their mother, late Hajiya Maryam Ado Bayero popularly known as ‘Mai Babban Daki’ .
While Leading the delegation of the Speakers to Kano Emir’s Palace, Chairman of the Conference, Abubakar Y. Suleiman described the deceased as pillar of the Royal family, Kano State and the country at large.
He said that, “On behalf of the staff and members of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria, I wish to convey the deepest sympathy to you and the entire Emirates over this great loss”.

The Conference Chairman added that, “We received the sad news with heavy heart but with total submission to the will of God. However we draw our consolation from the verse of the Holy Qur’an which says ‘Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihir Rajiun’ , translated; ‘We belong to God and to Him we shall return’.
The Chairman then  prayed to Almighty God to grant Hajiya Jannatul Firdaus and give the family the fortitude to bear the loss as contained in a statement by Abdul Ahmad Burra, Spokesperson to the Speaker Bauchi State House of Assembly.
