Governor Darius Ishaku of Taraba State

Governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), from the North have cautioned leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to stop intimidating their members.
Governor Darius Ishaku who was addressing journalists after a closed-door meeting held at Taraba Government Lodge, Abuja, said the APC have failed to provide quality leadership to the Nation.
He recalled how the APC recently intimidated some Governors to leave the PDP saying it is against democratic tenets.
The Governor opined that no member of the PDP would have loved to leave the party if not for the persistent intimidation by the APC.
They expressed dissatisfaction on the leadership of the APC in the North despite haven a solid structure.
Governor Darius Ishaku said the PDP Governors resolved to provide good leadership to people of their various States amidst lean resources at their disposal.
Governors that attended the meeting include Governor Darius Ishaku of Taraba State and his Benue State counterpart, Samuel Ortom.
Others are Governors of Adamawa State, Umaru Fintiri, Bauchi Bala Mohammed and Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto State.
