Governor Ishaku of Taraba State

Governor Darius Ishaku has been issued with clearance certificate to contest the Senatorial seat for Southern Taraba.
The presentation was done after the successful screening of the Governor by the committee set up by the People’s Democratic Party National Secretariat.
Speaking,Governor Darius Ishaku appreciated effort of the screening committee for doing a meticulous job by screening all the aspirates of the party.
He said since the return of democracy in Nigeria,PDP has been ruling the State because of the people’s oriented programs that they have established over the years.
The Governor promised to bring more people under the umbrella of the People’s Democratic Party for a resounding victory in next year general elections.
Governor Darius Ishaku assured Tarabans that the new crops of politicians that will take over from him are going to be people of proven integrity that will initiate more development programs like he has done for people of the State.
Commenting, Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party Senatorial Screening Committee to the State Salisu Suleiman said they are in the State to screen PDP aspirants for the twenty twenty three elections.
He thanked Governor Darius Ishaku for the warmth reception accorded the team.
On his part, Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party PDP Kefas Agbu commended the efforts of the screening team and prayed God to lead them to their various destinations.
The Committee,have succeeded in screening all Senatorial,House of Representatives and Members of the State House of Assembly aspirants for the PDP.
Governor Darius Ishaku is the sole aspirant for the Southern Taraba Senatorial seat.
