Taraba Governor, Ishaku swears in chair, members public complaint, anti-corruption commission

Governor Darius Ishaku has sworn in Justice Gideon Isah Kurada as Chairman and other Members of the Taraba State Public Complain and anti corruption Commission.
The event took place at the Exco Chamber Government House, Jalingo.
Governor Ishaku said his administration is entrenching institutional framework that will strengthened governance in the State.
He told members of the Commission that they have a daunting task that are sumountable in view of the fact that they are people of proven integrity.
The Governor challenged the Commission to rise to the occasion by discharging their duty diligently to people of the State.
Governor Ishaku posited that the Commission has power to prosecute and as well encourage them to promote accountability in the Civil Service and private sector.
He advised Tarabans ready to lodge complaints to ensure they have facts before reaching the Commission.
The Governor promised to provide office, accommodation and fund to the Commission to enable them succeed.
In his remarks, Chairman of the Taraba State Public Complain and anti Corruption Commission, Justice Gideon Isah Kurada retired thanked Governor Darius Ishaku for the confidence reposed in them.
He solicited support from Governor Darius Ishaku and people of the State to enable him succeed.
Kurada assured Tarabans of their resolve to work to the best of their ability.
Members of the Committee are Aminci Baraya, Mohammed Adamu, Fatima Hassan, Hosea Danjuma, Samson Adda and Suzy Basho Ali.
Justice Philibus Andetur administered the oath of office and secrecy to the Chairman and Members of the Commission supported by the Commissioner of Justice, Sam Adda.
