Taraba impressed with improved health condition of Deputy Governor Aminu Alkali in Egyptian Hospital

The Taraba State Government has expressed happiness with the improved health condition of the State Deputy Governor Alhaji Aminu Abullahi Alkali who has been absent from office since November 2024 and now being hospitalised in Egypt.
Briefing the press after the State Executive Council meeting in Jalingo the State Commissioners of Health, Dr Buma Bodiya assured the public that the health condition of the Deputy Governor was improving greatly which is
the first official update on the health condition of the Deputy Governor Aminu Alkali since his absence from office started.
Following constannt outcry about the whereabouts of the Deputy Governor the Taraba State Government delegated the Commissioner of Health to Cairo, Egypt, to assess his actual health condition.
According to Dr. Bodiya, the Deputy Governor is recuperating and in stable health, expressing optimism for his return to the State to resume his official duties in no distant time.
Addressing concerns over the legal implications, Taraba State Commissioner for Information Barr. Zainab Usman Jalingo emphasized that the law does not specify the number of days a Deputy Governor can be away from office due to health issues or other incapacities.
She reassured the public that Alhaji Aminu Alkali is receiving excellent medical care and is about recovering fully .
The Government urges residents to remain hopeful and to pray for the quick recovery and swift return of the Deputy Governor.
