Taraba SDP governorship candidate, Hon Baido drinks water from the borehole he commissioned at Yamusala in Jalingo

The people of Yamusala Community in Jalingo have praised the Social Democratic Party (SDP) governorship candidate, Hon. Danladi Baido for providing them with a borehole.
The borehole was formally commission on Thursday where a crowd came out to receive the governorship candidate and his entourage.
According to the Mai Anguwan, Yohanna Tanko, it was the first time anybody was bringing any such amenity to the area.
He said, even though the community is not part of his House of Representatives Constituency, Hon. Baido provided the borehole.
The youth leader, Peter Babaji expressed joy with the provision of the borehole and pledge to support the SDP candidate in the governorship election.
The woman leader, Evelyn Michael said the provision of the borehole will ease water challenge in the area.
In his speech, Hon. Baido said, they should vote wisely and ensure that they vote is not manipulated.
He further pledge to assist women that have learnt some trade with cash assistance when elected into office to further strengthen them while the youths will be positively engaged.
Hon Baido stressed that erosion and road challenge in the area would be looked into when elected governor.
The governorship candidate met with some elders at the Busstop area along Hammanruwa way, Jalingo.
