The manifestation of Ramadan blessings in Kebbi

As the Muslim Ummah Worldwide entered the second week of the Ramadan fast, favourable results of the compulsory ibadat have started manifesting in Kebbi State.
The state Governor, Comrade Nasir Idris started opening a favourable gate to comparatively easy fast as he graciously distributed hundreds of thousands of bags of assorted varieties of food items to the Muslim Ummah as palliatives for the Ramadan.

This was contained in a statement by Abdullahi Idris Sadaukin Zuru, Special Adviser on Communication and Strategy to Kebbi State Governor.
The food items, as already reported, included maize, guinea corn, millet, rice, and dry season farming inputs.
Within the week of God’s blessed month, the Governor has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Chairman of MSM Cement company Nigeria limited, for the establishment of a cement manufacturing industry with the capacity of producing three million tonnes annually.
The MoU was signed by the Governor and the chairman of the company Alhaji Mu’azzam Mairawani at the Kebbi State Governor’s Lodge, Abuja.
Comrade Governor Kauran Gwandu assured that Kebbi state is blessed with a variety of mineral resources that can serve as a source of increased revenue generation, wealth generation, and creation of employment opportunities, if properly utilised.
Similarly, as result of consistent follow up and relentless push from different angles,l by Governor Nasir, the federal government has within the week awarded the contract for the reconstruction of Gadar -Zaima-Zuru to Gamji road sharing boundary with Niger state at cost of N11.976 billion.
Bagudo road reconstruction contract is another project contract awarded in Kebbi State at the cost of N2.64 billion.
These achievements recorded during the Holy Month of Ramadan, resulting from the demonstrated commitment of Comrade Nasir Idris administration, are being viewed as the beginning of more meaningful impacts to be witnessed in no distance future.
