Tilden Fulani Youths dismiss defection rumor, stand firm with Senator Umar

The Randan Ruwa Development Association, Tilden Fulani, in Toro Local Government, Bauchi State, has categorically denied rumors circulating on social media that they have defected from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
In a statement issued to newsmen in Bauchi late Wednesday evening, Chairman of the Association, Sulaiman Muhammad Inuwa and Secretary, Ismail Ahmad described the news as a desperate attempt to tarnish the group’s hard-earned reputation.
They emphasized their loyalty to the APC and Senator Shehu Buba Umar, representing Bauchi South.
The group stressed that, it has been working closely with Senator Shehu Umar, and the recent visit of the members to the Council secretariat was to discuss development issues affecting Tilden Fulani.
Accompanying their elder brother, they were received by Council Chairman, Pharmacist Ibrahim Dembo Abubakar.
During the meeting, issues relating to Tilden Fulani’s development were discussed, and the group clarified that the visit had no connection to the defection rumors.
Patron Almustapha Hamisu (Garkuwan Matasan Tilden) expressed surprise at the false news, stating that it was aimed at smearing their name, Senator Umar’s, and the APC.
The association reaffirmed commitment to the APC and Senator Umar, emphasizing their dedication to the party’s ideals and values urging the public to disregard the baseless rumors, which they believe are fueled by desperation.
The group’s loyalty to Senator Umar and the APC is unwavering, and they will continue to support the party’s efforts to develop Bauchi State and called on the public to verify information through credible sources to avoid spreading misinformation.
The Randan Ruwa Development Association, Tilden Fulani, remains a steadfast supporter of the APC and Senator Umar stressing that its members will not be swayed by false propaganda and will continue working towards the betterment of their community.
The group revealed that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and its stakeholders have been aggressively trying to lure them into joining the party, but they have consistently refused stating that they are not surprised by the PDP’s desperate attempt to tarnish their reputation.
The association urged the public to disregard the defection rumors and focus on constructive dialogue. They appreciate the support of their patrons, members, and the APC leadership in Bauchi State.
