He expressed gratitude to Governor Willie Obiano for his prompt release of N1million to the family of late Kpajie Patrick Iwobi, a vigilante commander in Onitsha North Local Government Area who recently died in active service.
The Chairman however appealed to the state government to expedite action towards the provision of life assurance facilities to operatives of the agency as means of enhanced motivation for them to rise to their responsibilities vigorously and fearlessly.
Chief Aduba also enjoined unregistered neighbourhood watch outfits in the state to without further delay get registered with the AVG headquarters in Awka in order to avoid being clamped down by a joint team of the AVG Task force and the Police Force.
